First time doing FMQ...(eeek!)

This is my second completed quilt and my first attempt at FMQ. (My first quilt was a small lap quilt with just basic SID quilting.) It was fun doing the FMQ in the wide border and because it's a utility quilt (it's a doggie quilt for my collie), I wasn't toooo nervous about trying FMQ on a "real" quilt. My collie is very forgiving of human mistakes, lol.

Thanks for looking! I am hoping to keep my courage up and continue with FMQ -- I can see it becoming a favorite part of the quilting process if/when(!) I get better at it :-)

I love your avatar, my mom used to line all eight of us kids up, oldest to youngest to take family pictures! Memories! :-o

It looks great! I agree, once you relax with it, it can become the most fun part of making a quilt! :thumbup: :D
