I am finding myself going from project to project to project. Recently got EQ5 & 6, the Town & Country software from EQ, a new dresden tool, and a WONDERFUL Welcome to my Cabin book (given to me by a friend). I just find myself wandering around from one to the next not knowing where to go. Then there's the stash that still needs organizing, the new machine that could use some TLC (not to mention the garden, weeding of the flower beds, laundry, and other general responsibilities)... anybody in the same boat as me?? I'm starting to drive myself nuts.

Yes I know what you mean. I seem to be going from one thing to another lately. Not good. Because then Hubby gets mad because I am not finishing projects. Hes a perfectionist and I am not although I am starting to be. When you come up with a solution..please let us all know it. :)

I kind of like having several projects going at once. When I get frustrated or bored with one, I work on another for a while. I've tried working on just one at a time and I end up losing my mojo.

I was OCD before quilting and it's only made it worse.

If I could line up all of my projects in a day to go continuously from one to the next, I might get more accomplished. Like, I take my coffee into the sewing area then back to the kitchen for my toast, stop to get the package that just came, take it into the sewing area to look at it, go back to get the toast I left, its now cold. Need jelly, in the kitchen, back to the sewing area, cold coffee, Oh well, might as well stay and take a look in the board. Now, I see why I get nothing done some days. LOL

OCD at home and at my shop, unfinished projects from my bedroom to the DR to the kitchen to the laundry to the garage and yard. A car full of stuff that needs to go somewhere, but can't cause the garge is full of stuff that needs to be sorted. AND of course only I can do any of the the "CORRECT WAY". i CAN'T EVEN START on the quilt shop. The one thing that does create some order occasionally is a list.....i LOVE crossing things off. I'll add stuff like wash hair, eat breakfast just to cross them off. The other thing I do sometimes is call a friend - we set a time and call the other back at that time to report on progress on whatever project. You are nOT alone.

I try to finish at least one UFO before I start something new. At least that was plan A. Plan B has a whole new set of rules. :-)

Oh, I'm happy I'm not alone! Problem is, I can't even figure out which project I want to start!! LOL I just keep looking at patterns, looking at fabric... maybe I need a list.

A list does seem to help. It feels great to be able to cross things off the list.
