With a German Shepherd and a Malamute, I don't have to worry about putting out any additional materials for the birds. Both dogs "blow" their winter coats and I have fur up the whazoo in my yard. Dog fur, anyone?

Wild animals don't generally need our help to live, and are better off without it.

I totally agree! Did you see the articlae from Yellowstone? Some morons wanted to help a baby bison calf so they picked it up and put it in their vehicle. There was a long response from the Yellowstone staff as to why this was NOT a good idea! I hope that they were fined.

And sadly the bison calf had to be euthanized because the mother would not re-accept it.

They were fined a very minuscule amount, like $100
