Ok first of school today for my kids and well I am not sure if I should do the happy dance or cry. The years have flown by and I still have one yet to go to school and will cherish it. But I think for now I will dance for joy there are no more girl hormones for 8 hours during the day!!! Woohoo!

And another good thing is that I now have the motivation to quilt hmm is there a link to kids being home and no desire to quilt..... dun dun dunnnn. I will keep you informed until then bed quilt here I come!!

My son starts high school in the morning. I have mixed emotions. I think we are both ready to set some goals.

it was always bittersweet when the kids left for school. so good to have some time away from them and see them taking on new adventures but bitter because they grow so fast!

I was always excited for school to be back in session. However that also meant more activities for everybody as well as making sure homework got done (whether or not it got turned in once they got to school!).

i was a bus driver. i missed my son alot when he went to school (strted at 17 months, not daycare, school, he was speach disabled, now in Eastern Med School with a culinary degree 20 yrs old.) and a very good speaker. (at 17 he was asked to be a keynote speaker) .
It woul kill me when the parents would say "take them, i've had enough, so why did yu hav them?????
