I have one that I got in a bag of stuff at a garage sale. I never thought of using it for marking curved lines for quilting. Thanks for the great idea!

I bought one years ago. I have used it several times, and it does hold its shape until you change it.

I have had one for many years. Love how it is so flexible but holds its shape even after all these years.

A course I took once had it on the list of supplies, but they didn't mention to make sure it had measurements on it. I purchased a blue one with no markings..... it is fine for curves but not if you want to repeat a shape on a measured basis.

I have one that I use when I am making pants to get a good crotch fit. I also use it on arm holes if I think they maybe to tight and want to enlarge them. I use it and the french curve. I have also used on it on flower stem on quilts. I is flexible and you can see what it will look like before you applique a stem.

I have one and have used it to trace curves. It is helpful to use in making pants and getting the crotch seam to curve correctly. Not something I use very often

so funny that you mentioned this. I was watching an old So Sew easy and Angela Wolf, great pattern maker and seamstress was using one. She used it to get the accurate curve of the crotch line for her pants. She had it bent to a u shape, it was pretty flexible and stayed in place once it was bent. Her video was on Amazon Prime, second episode I think
