Flunked the Eye Exam
#1
So, today I went to get my drivers license renewed; I flunked the eye exam! How do you flunk a eye exam at the DOT? Didn't think that was possible; but I did it. SHE GAVE ME MY DRIVERS LICENSE BACK along with a slip to have the optometrist fill out before they will give me a new drivers license. Does that mean it's OK to keep driving!! I called my hubby and told him, and said, " well, don't hit anything while you mow lawn!" Too funny!
Is that from too much sewing and quilting?

when does your license expire, as you need to renew them before they expire or you can't drive, that happened to my hubby
hubby had cataracts, had surgery and was able to drive again
call and get yourself an eye appt. soon!

That's frustrating
Did you have your glasses on? Usually they take two eye tests with and without your glasses. That is frustrating... If your optometrist clears you... they should renew your license without a problem.

I wish that had happened to my DH. He waited too long to go to the eye doc and found out that he had late stage glaucoma, now he is going blind. Take care of your eyes. It is very scary to think that there are people on our roads that cannot pass the eye exam, isn't it?

Sometimes the eye tests at the Driver's Centres are not as accurate as they should be. The eye chart at our local centre was on a bit of a slant and many people were having trouble seeing all the lines clearly. Your optometrist will have a much more accurate test and suggestions on how to improve your vision. New glasses or laser treatments could be just what you need.
