they are beautiful many yrs ago i watched them make them at a mall in Pa they always had a crowd around them

I used to have a candle that was carved! I received it as a wedding gift way back in 1979. I always thought it was too pretty to burn so I never did. :? Years ago -- back in the 70s and 80s -- there was a store in the large malls around here. It was called Wicks & Sticks. They used to sell carved candles that were similar to the one on the video. I don't remember, however, that the tops were carved with flowers, etc. I guess the artisans have perfected the craft. I love these even more than the "old ones." :wink: Thanks so much for bringing back a memory for me!!! :thumbup:

I had one of these for our wedding...back in the mid 70's. Wasn't quite this fancy...but really nice. I even had some taper candles on the mantle that I remember buying at Dollywood in the 80's.
