I have a question about what you normally do for a second marriage when the people are this age. They are selling her house and getting rid of lots of both of their stuff.
My daughter only gives a nice card and no gift because they already have everything they need.
Please give me some input about what you do.
Thanks
Jan

Gift cards are always a welcome gift, especially to a restaurant or other favorite place :D:D:D

I think it depends on well you know them. I have done embroidered or cross-stiched pieces with the wedding info. That way they have something to put on the wall that isn't his or hers but theirs. But any night I don't have to cook dinner is a good night, so a gift card to a place that is a splurge would be neat.

I'd say it depends on how well you know them, but a gift card to a restaurant that is one with a great atmosphere, or a little bit of adventure, or a lovely breakfast place. IMO, if you're 67 you've already been to the Olive Garden once or twice. ;)

Funny, I was going to say a gift card to their favorite resturant. Looks like its a popular idea. How about new towels with monogram or sheets with their names monogrammed on pillow cases - I have an embroidery machine so these ideas are popping up.
