Ever get notices about life insurance from places just because you asked for information one time? Do they not grasp that when you do not reply you are saying no thanks?

I get tons and I didn't request any information. After several years you would think they would quit. Auto Insurance and Chase are just as bad!

No, I asked about a year ago and still get them in snail mail and emails. Very irritating.

Right now, what gets me about the mail, is that instead of thank you's from charitys I just sent a donation to, I get letters and calls asking for more. Am Cancer Society called on Monday and I said just a minute, I just sent you a check and was looking at my check register and said yes, just last Wednesday. The caller just hemmed and hawed and then thanked me and sorry to bother me after sending in a check. I realize the caller doesn't know - they are just given calls to make. But they can bite the hand that feeds them!!

The last call I got, I told them I didn't have any money. "But mam, any amount would help!" I said "Okay, send me money and it will help me." They hung up. I guess they didn't want to give money, just get money!!!

And now, they send little gifts in the mail, requesting a donation. We send them back RETURN TO SENDER

My pet peeve is when you subscribe to a magazine and get renewal offers every month thereafter. Jeez, at least wait until your subscription is close to being up! I think they're hoping you'll just be confused about when you ordered the magazine and just go ahead and renew! If you fell for this, you could wind up paying to get the magazine for the next 25 years!
