My bil & sil cut circles from them, laminated them with contac paper and made place mats out of them. They used a patterned backing from contac paper also. We have enjoyed these for over 20 years and they are still going strong.

I have lots of my mothers card which I could not bear to throw away(My Mum died 32 years ago) I have now started to recycle them to my children, writing in them as usual but telling them also this card belonged to their grandmother or great grandmother whose hands have actually held this card. They are thrilled and there are no strings attached they can throw them away if they wish - it means that I don't have to because I never could. But it is really interesting to see the styles of the day also.
