Anyone use Bottom Line thread? I have trouble sometimes with my bottom thread coming through to the top when quilting even after I have changed the tension. Someone recommended Bottom Line thread to me. Any testamonials? Where is the best online place to buy it?

I have been using it recently in my sewing machines and really like it. You can get almost double the amount on the bobbin, I had to lower the upper tension to 4 (normally on 5) and the stitches just seem to disappear in the fabric. You will love bottom line. I use it on my machine on the top and bottom. Be careful, because some machines don't do well with it at the top, but I have never had trouble with it at the bottom.

No matter which thread you use you will still have to do some tension adjustments if you continue to see the tread show at the top. If the tension doesn't look so bad, it just shows a little on the top, the best solution is to use the same color on the top and bottom and always slow down your hands if doing free motion. Fast needle slow hands.

I use it lots - as a bobbin thread, and I have also quilted very successfully with it when I dont want the quilting to show up too much, like on an OBW. I also like it for applique.

Bottom line is amazingly strong for being so thin.I use it for quilting not piecing. I like it and by it from Superior Threads.

I love both of them and use it inter-changeably. I do up about 20 bobbins at a time, so I never really know which I am using and they are wonderful because they are so fine you get so much more on each bobbin.
