There I was, sewing away when I heard crunching outside the window by my head. I looked up and found myself face-to-face with a doe. She looked and looked, then walked to the next window and looked some more. Geez, now I know how a zoo animal feels! Finally I called my DH to take a picture.
These deer hang around our place and spend a lot of time looking in our windows. I've gone out to see whether they are looking in or looking at themselves in the reflection, and they can see in all right. Hopefully they never challenge the window!
We have three bucks hanging around, too. One of them is my avatar, taken a few years ago. I took almost exactly the same picture yesterday.

We hunt here, too. That's why all these guys have the same name - steaks-on-sticks.
The bucks always disappear during the summer and don't return until after hunting season, though.

In a town near here a deer got into a house last week. Damaged the house pretty good. I guess there was blood all over anything. That sure would be scary, but I love your picture.
