Default Help!!! need ideas

I'm getting a jump on next year. what can I make for a group bee of about 20? i want it to be something everyone can use, and something handmade. this year, i did gnome ornaments, and did them in sewing fabric, as we have 2-3 Jewish ladies in our group, and an ornament will not be good for them. This way, they are sewing room gnomes.so any idea, and be specific. I DO NOT want to do tote bags, too much fabric and time to do it properly. thanks in advance. i know some of you have had some great gifts that you've made and received.

How about zipper pouches? MSQC has a good tutorial, they don't take much fabric, & you can buy zippers in bulk on Amazon.

This year for Christmas I crocheted handtowels that hang over a bar or kitchen drawer handle, those buttoned kind. It takes me three hours to make one, not bad. If you don't crochet, you can always make terrycloth ones the same way with the buttoned top. Those would probably be even faster to make.

Microwave bowl holders... or potholders... embellished kitchen towels... simple aprons. Practically anything for the kitchen.

Jenny's zippered bags, as mentioned above, is a terrific idea. I also saw the video by Gemini who made the quilted zippered box bag. Made one for myself to carry meds back and forth for doctors' appointments. Should have made if larger, though. Today it "overfloweth" with extra bottles. Will have to make another one.

how about those those thread catchers that collapse. Easy to travel to class with and handy when you get there.

How about one of those organizers to put over your chair arm to hold the immediate needs for their projects?
