Sometimes I wash ziploc freezer bags to reuse if they are gently used. It's a pain to get the bags dry. If I know they will be used for freezing I put the washed bags in the freezer. No more having wet bags to try to dry.

I do this too :D:D:D Or I mark them, example: "hamburger" and then remove the meat right away while it is still frozen, and immediately put the bags back in the freezer. No need to wash them then. I pull them out, stuff them again and right back in... They are only out for a couple of minutes so no bacteria worries  I wrap the meat first in saran, as sometimes it is in there for a few months. :D:D:D

I recycle mine too. After they are washed, I turn mine inside out and put them open side down in my dish drainer to dry. Never thought about the freezer. Good idea.

I hate drying them, too. Ugh.

Causes me pain to toss them, too.

A baby bottle rack works good for drying them. My daughter washes and reuses her foodsaver bags and when I was visiting when GD was little, I used the bottle rack to dry the bags, not the bottles. lol

Cool a great idea! I do the same ( wash them to re-use) Now just put them in the freezer for later use is a great idea!
