Default holiday overspend

Just back from holiday in Florida, slight overspend on fabric, scissors thread, rulers and other assorted sewing goodies, needed to purchase extra luggage allowance, I now have a small stash to keep me going for a while, nothing like the ones you lucky American gals seem to have. I am one happy sewing lady. The difference in price between the UK and the USA is astonishing.

Hope you didn't have to pay too much on luggage fees. Those are exorbitant too !!

I am sew happy that you were able to make a trip like that. I am sure no fabric goes to waste when you have to go through that much trouble and expense.

I can only imagine how you must feel, taking back some wonderful fabric! It must be difficult to decide what to buy! I rarely have a plan in place for fabric purchases when I travel -- I just hope for something to really inspire me. Show us your projects when you are done. In fact show us what you purchased!

There is nothing like having fabric as a great way to remember your trip. And getting it at great prices... well ...that too will be remembered.

I'm sure the money you saved on the fabric and other notions you bought paid for teh extra allowance you had to buy in order to get back home! Glad you were alr to buy lots of fabric for new creations.
