    We had a great day & visit with family. Went out for lunch,then supper was grilled cheese with cucumber salad & DD had made dessert ....blackberry cobbler.Yummy!

    tonight was sliced tomatoes and corn on the cob. My husband wants corn on cob almost every night while it is in season. Tomorrow, italian beef in crockpot.

    I love cucumbers but never tried them in a sandwich........ willhave to experiment.

    Slice cucumbers in vinegar/water ,adding onion,S&P...& sugar or other sweetner to taste.I use rice vinegar.Good to eat with a sandwich in place of pickles.Keeps well in fridge.

    I had a roast chicken in slo cooker yesterday.Left overs today will be creamed chicken with mashed potatoes & fresh corn cut off the cob & cooked with diced red/green peppers.
    Gonna be sewing off & on till supper time.

    Yest we had cheeseburgers on buns & big salads with lots of diff veggies.Later we had watermelon.
