We spend our summers up in WA and my DH is active in a tractor show they have there every August. This year I decided I wanted to drive his little tractor in the tractor parade. I've never been on a tractor, much less driven one. My SIL's BIL made, and mounted, a metal "step" just for me so I could get on it and my DH taught me how to drive it. The tractor originally belonged to DH's uncle, his cousin gave it to him and he completely refurbished it.

DH has a bigger tractor, maybe next year.......

Very cool! My dad was an antique tractor collector, mostly John Deeres. He used to take them to parades and antique engine and tractor shows. I drove them in parades when I was less than 10 years old!!! Thanks for the memory jog!!

Looks like you had fun. I love looking at the antique tractors at the fair.

Great looking tractor. Ask your husband if he'd like to buy a 1949 Case. We've got one for sale.

Yea! It's a Farmall. Great looking tractor. My DH would love it. He has an unrestored Super H that we use at the farm. The A is so cute.
