October has been a nightmare - Mother very ill and finally moved her in with us, after changing formal living room into bedroom since she is not able to climb stairs. Adjusting to being full time caregiver has been easier than I thought. Trying to find good private nurse so I can have a couple of free days during the week has been the nightmare part of it all. Come Nov 1 it all becomes one day until end of January. This year will be a little different with first Grandbaby due around Christmas. Quilting on back burner until who knows when!

Yep, my November is very full as well. Work M-Fr every week - then helping at my sister's shop every Saturday as she has classes. Also involved in local theater - working in the box office on at least one weekend - then hosting my families Thanksgiving get together on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
My DH and I are planning a quiet day on Thanksgiving itself to unwind and watch the Lions-Packers game. Who knows what else will crop up before the month actually arrives.

We're going to Vegas for Thanksgiving, I'm starting 3 quilts for Christmas, finishing 3 started , ( unless I get those done in the next 2 weeks...) 25 gift bags + goodies for co-workers... oh yeah, I'd like to get some exercise in there someplace... I have to lose the 40 lbs I put on while recovering from a broken ankle..... LOOK OUT Chubby girl running!!!!!!!!

My goodness...you are certainly going to be busy! I was just looking at my Nov/Dec calendar. Nov is always busy for me and Dec. generally just goes by in a blur. By Christmas Eve when the gifts are wrapped, the baking/candy making is finished, and the house looks lovely...I just sigh and always suggest that maybe we wait a week, or so, to open gifts. It is like we are running a race to Christmas Day...then it is all over.
