Had a lovely time! My bro was celebrating his 75th birthday so we had a delightful party and I got to see my bro & spouse, niece, 2 nephews, 2 great nephews and my great niece. On my way there, I met "dreamer" from our quilting board and we had a lovely visit. BLESS HER! She had all kinds of fleece fabric for me - we loaded up my already pretty well loaded vehicle! (I left most with my son on my way north as I figured the border patrol would tear my car apart with that much stuff in it! He will bring it to me early in June).
During the visit, bro, nephew and I went out and collected 15 gallons of oysters for the party dinner - which also had burgers & hot dogs, salmon, prawns, and halibut (all seafood local and fast frozen the day it was caught
so was SO, SO good!). Talk about seafood heaven! Here are a couple of pics of the clan.

I am glad that you had a great time. And it was nice of dreamer. I would love to meet up with some of the quilters from here!!! What a treasure that would be.

Geez, what a nice looking family. They look like the kind of people I know - you sure we haven't met? Glad to hear you had a good visit. By your description of the trip, and the background in your pictures, me-thinks you were in the southwestern BC area.

Great-looking clan Rein. So nice to visit and have a seafood feast. How were those oysters?
