Chele - the oysters were wonderful! I won't buy them, or eat them at a restaurant, not after knowing just how good they are when they are REALLY fresh! Oh so good....
Tahsis is on the north west side of Vancouver Island - about 25 miles away from the better known town of Gold River. God's country for certain!
Thanks everyone for your comments. It had been 6 years since we were all together and my sister-in-law got it all organized when she knew when I was arriving and the kids all made sure to be there. :D
