I can relate too. This is where grandkids come in real handy, not to mention doing math that I've long forgotten.

Cute! My grand has a social media page for each of her pets. And they get new contacts everyday. LOL
But on a serious note, my youngest DD got the job of her dreams through social media. She posted what her dream job would be and many responded with there is a job like that, check here and call this person, I told the HS guy about you, and so on.

Well, I'm not really starting a new business, but I did get a new IPhone recently -- upgraded from an older flip-phone type. You talk about culture shock!!!! I'm slowly learning it, but my 8-yr. old great-niece saw it and took it from me, and cool-as-a-cucumber, said, "Oh Aunt Deb, you HAVE to get me one of these!" Then she started working with it to see what pitifully few apps I had installed on it (none at the time, but now I've got lots on there for her to play with). I don't have any children, so my dear sister loans me her kids and grandkids to spoil and I think I do a darned good job of it.

I just bought an iPhone for my daughter and would ***love*** to get one for myself but haven't been able to justify it. Playing around is essential, I think, to mastering the new technologies.

Oh the things the kids who are techno nerds (and I mean that in a very loving way) are the ones who have to teach the elderly a thing or two .. Especially with new programs and phones.

Do you mean to tell me there are others out there that are as technically challenged as I am. My GS's always have to come straighten out some sort of mess I have made of my computer.
