don't let those seniors discourage you. When I started quilking ages ago a lady felt the need to judge my every move, I almost quit quilting. I quit being with her and years later I am happily quilting and she is NOT. I find if I make my binding out of bias strips I get fewer wrinkles. I also make little crocheted blankets for preemis, would you be willing to share your pattern for the little caps?

    HUG HUG HUG!!!!
I can't believe someone would try to tell you your preemie hats are too big or too small.....I have yet to see any two babies exactly the same size!!!!! Keep up the good work. The moms that receive your gifts will be very appreciative. As for the senior centre and things have to be done the "right" way, sometimes our senior citizens can be a little "set in their ways". Usually a smile and a head nod will go a lot farther than trying to argue with them.

Good on ya for being such wonderful volunteer.

Well, I haven't read all the replies but if you are doing all that work to give away and ONE person is challenging you, just smile and keep on needling! You are making more people happy with your gifts than you know.

And besides, how does she know whats too big or too small - we all have different size heads! Maybe you should make one just for her; I bet she backs off!
