Default I spilled oil

I just dropped a bottle of canola oil on my kitchen floor. Any hints as to how to get the residue up. After several washings it still feels slippery.

Wipe as much up as you can and use the ORIGINAL DAWN DISH WASHING LIQUID to wash the floor. IT is the best and mildest grease cutter. You may have to do it a few times. hopethis helps.
peace

I "third" the Dawn . . . or any other good dishwashing liquid. If it'll clean a greasy pan, it'll clean your floor.

Try Dawn dish soap. Use paper towels to soak up as much as possible or just an old towel. I spilled a cup of olive oil, dropped the cup and it went all over the floor and the 3 fur babies had a heck of a time slipping and sliding. Go ahead laugh). I did too. Threw down old rags and chased the fur babies. I had a office shredder and used the shreddings so I could see where the fur babies had been. It's amazing how fast that oil can spread. Dawn washed all of it up.

Vinegar cuts grease like nobody's business. And there is no rinsing needed.
