Weater Woes

I hear it's still snowing up north. We've had no moisture for the last 3 months. We are under a burn ban, the wind was so high yesterday some power lines came down. Of course they sparked and started a terrible prairie fire, lost about 11 barns and outbuildings and one home in that area. Other areas around here are just as bad.
If it doesn't rain soon the wheat crop will be lost and the cotton crop will have to be planted late or not at all. Then we quilters will suffer more price increases.
What a winter and spring for us all. Knee deep in snow or drying up and blowing away. I feel like I'm living thru the dust bowl again.

I could send you some snow from Canada. I had one of the worst drives home from church at noon today. It was blowing and snowing so hard that you just couldn't see. Last night I had a miserable drive because of fog and the night before it was heavy blowing thick rain. I think that I should just stay home and sew on my new but old (1947 model) 201-3 machine that I just got set up today.
