Laughter is the best medicine so share some laughter today!!

My grandson Zach is autistic. This means his brain works in mysterious ways sometimes! It can leave you breathless with laughter!

He is obsessed with kids shows on tv and tv in general Nearly everything he does and says can be traced back to something he saw on tv.
He hates to go to school some days but Fri he was jumping out of bed eagerly. Unusual for him! He was happy go lucky getting ready for school and bopping down the stairs to go to school. His mom Sara (my DD) was walking him down the hall at school when he made a sudden turn into the principal's office. Michelle (who works there) was sitting in a chair. Zach is 10 btw and behind about a yr developementally. He went down on the floor in front of Michelle went on one knee and held his hand out to her as if he had a ring in his hand. He says " Will you marry me?" LOL LOL She had tears in her eyes from trying not to laugh!!! He is so precocious!!!
He had been told by his aide the day before he couldn't pretend to marry his sister because people don't marry their family. So he chose the first woman he saw to propose! LOL LOL He lives in a make believe world most of the time so to him it was quite alright for him to propose!!! He was playacting of course but it was really cute!!

Our funny Zachary!

What a cute story! Mine is when my younger sister was pregnant (9 months by the way), we went to a restaurant (Moroccan) that had belly dancers in the lounge downstairs. We went down after dinner and they sat us right up next to the stage. During the show, the dancer pulled my DH up on state to be the "Sultan of the Evening", sat him on a chair, put a turbin on this head and proceeded to "do her thing" dancing around him. Then she stood him up, pulled up his shirt, and tried to get him to belly dance!! Now, my DH would NEVER in a million years agree to get on a stage for anything (I know, I was is a theatre group for about 17 years and could never get him to do anything but maybe make a few props for us). My sister was laughing so hard, we all thought she was going to go into labor right there! We had tears rolling down our faces! We have never let him live that one down!

I've got one... I always picked up these 2 first graders for Sunday School. The little boy was learning phonics, so he's sitting in the back seat leafing through his bible. Suddenly he said "Possum's in the bible"...the other adult passenger and I looked at each other kind of funny... so I said "How do you spell it?"..." P S A L M", he spelled out......I still think it's the cutest and funniest thing. Who would have thought? Thank you, Jay, for making me laugh every time I think of you!

My mom and I was going to California to get my sister and her two children, and mom started out driving, well sometime in the morning she ask if I could drive for awhile and I said yes, well about two hours later I got sleepy, and she was snoring away, so I pull over to this closed down Indian Store, it was hot and mom rolled down her window and I fell a sleep in the front seat. I don't know how long I had been a sleep but mom let out a scream, and I don't know why but I screamed too! (this is the funny part) we sit there screaming back and forth for a few minutes and I don't even know why I was screaming. Now the reason for mom screaming was she said she woke up and a Indian was looking in the window with a rifle over his shoulder! And he was telling us we couldn't sleep there. LOL! and keep telling us to go!! But we so busy screaming back and forth we couldn't understand what he was saying and we heard him say go, stupid white women! (ROFLMBO) So we get on our way and stop for breakfast and all of the sudden I just started laughing so hard, and mom said what are you laughing about and I said that Indian calling us stupid white women and us screaming back and forth and I never knew what I was screaming about!!!! Scary but so funny now!!! what an experience! Needless to say, we get a motel from here on out when we are on a trip together! Bahaaaaaa!!! Sorry for the long post....but had to share a funny!
