Default If you want a Kenmore machine.

Kenmores have been made by White manf. who makes Janome brand machines. That's why the high end Kenmores have the Janome features. White is not going to be making Kenmores any more. In fact the whole Kenmore line may be not made anymore. I know most of the bigger Sears stores do not have the machines. For the price you cannot beat the high end Kenmores. If you are in the market for a great machine with all the bells and whistles for a few hundred dollars, don't wait too long to check out the Kenmores.

Thanks for the update. I have my mother's Kenmore--going strong after 60 years.

I have one only a few years old and it is a great machine for the price. Too bad because they're a great price!

I had a White for many years and did not get rid of it until the parts could no longer be found. It had metal instead of plastic. I think it was even nicer than the Janome I have now.

My Kenmore 19606 is a Janome made and it is one great computerized machine. I bought it about 7 or 8 yrs. ago. It loves any kind of thread, has never given me one bit of trouble and does not know what a shop looks like, thank goodness. I can't say enough good things about this great machine.
