Hi again,
Lacelady noticed I haven't been posting much in past few months. Well, she's right and here's why. My life is hard now, I'm not well, and I had to work on, first, the baby quilt wallhanging, then my daughter's wallhanging for her 30th birthday. I just don't have enough time for all that and also having fun online so something had to give. Now that my quilt projects with deadlines (which I always meet) are done, I am going to return to my WIP lapquilts with no deadline. That allows me some more free time during my feel-better days to participate here. I'll be here less frequently than in mid-Spring to mid-Summer. I had so much fun with BOM and posting almost daily but this year must cut back. I really value this board and feel like I have friends here so will check in weekly, no particular day. Today I'm here although I need to get off soon. Luckily, my email will always tell me when anybody responds so I will quickly read it the next day.

Hi Cathy...I'm one of the newer members, so haven't "met" you yet...
I'm sorry that you've not been well! I do understand the deadline thing...I managed to start in October and make six lap quilts (I call them cuddle quilts) for five of my grands and my MIL...didn't get to spend as much time here.
Hope you find that you have more time for us than you thought you would! :)

Noticed where you said you have been having those nasty health issues flaring...we have talked about our fibro and stuff before, and that never goes away!!!
Also, you can't work and your DH is out of work AND your going thru bankruptcy/losing home? (((hugs))), that is a ton of stuff on your plate, besides what food you may be managing to buy.
Bless your heart. I am surprised you can keep up with your quilting. Mine is so affected by my ugh- "stuff"...that some times I just sit here like a lump.
I'm glad some of your time is getting freed up, and glad you are back. I kind of noticed here and there that I didn't see you, but I always think, oh they're busy quilting.
I have all these g.i. problems...that's right,...think you have those too. How ever do you manage?
If I stress or tighten even a little, to do much sometimes, it tightens the gut. not fun, so I get still.
well, you seem to managing better, and that makes me happy for you. I hope things continue to improve for you.
Is there anything we can do? hugs, all you can handle:wink:

Missed you. Glad you have finished some things and it has eased up a bit. I hope you feel better soon.
We are fighting the battle of amps here. This trailer is old, and in order to iron fabric, I have to turn off the heat. (I must iron quickly) and turn it back on.
