I too wish it would rain here in Ok..
The other day it was thundering and lightening, the wind was blowing hard but we didnt get not one drop of rain.. I thought forsure we would get some rain but didn't.. Maybe we will get some next week...:)

We are getting some much needed rain here. A brief downpour earlier and some sprinkles and the radar shows more coming.

OF COURSE! We are going to Nashville to see Keith Urban tonight. Maybe it will pass through before we head out later.

It's a double whammy that it takes rain to make rain. :? :cry:
The dampness evaporates, becomes moisture in the clouds, gets heavy, comes down as rain on the land. For so much of our land it's too dry to evaporate much any more. We'll have to hope it blows hard in from elsewhere; which really isn't the kind of watering we want or need at first :cry:

It's raining here in NYS now. Went to the spedi fest car show today and sat in the car most of the show because of the rain. It had gotten very dry here but now has changed back to rain, rain and more rain forecasted. Hope you all get the rain you need so badly very soon.

I really wish you could get rain. Everything looks so brown and dry, I worry about wildfires. We have had a few rain storms, but it rains so hard that the rain just runs off and doesn't soak in. There are cracks in the ground that worry me, they are so big.
