My cousin & his famiy live in the Springs, too & when we didn't hear from them for days, we were frantic. But it was only because they'd left their cell phone in their house (which was OK). It was awful! I feel so bad for the area. Ever since I first read this thread, I've thought so much about this fabric company, too. It just breaks my heart.

I've ordered from them before & been quite happy with the fabrics & service. I would go back any time!

I wish I could find an email address for them so I could send them a link to this thread. Then they'd know we're all pulling for them.

I wrote them an email at [email protected] expressing the care and concern of those of us on QB and this is the response I got:

"Thank you for your kind words, Susan!

We feel that we're doing very well. The community has been very strengthening and we're proud of our neighbors and the public servants and organizations supporting the efforts.

The quilting community, too, has been a particularly warm source of comfort. The kind words from different places has been overwhelming.

With the dust literally settling on everything, we feel pretty set in our new temporary home and in the measures needing to be taken to rebuild our lives. We expect soon, and look forward to, being able to re-open the doors to our website. We prided ourselves on our wide selection, and that will be drastically reduced when we re-open. But, we're more proud than ever of the relationships that we've been able to build through JR2G over the years as its those relationships that have supported us through this week more than anything material.

It's in these sentiments that we would like to tell you from the bottom of our hearts how thankful we are for you and The Quilting Board members reaching out to us at this time! We want to do something special for everyone when we're ready, so we can't wait to let you know when that is. In the meantime, more than ever, we're open to any recommendations, ideas, or interests that anyone might have for us to shoot for when re-opening JR2G."

Maybe I over-stepped by saying that the quilters on the QB were concerned about them, but I wasn't lying!!! I've signed up for their emails so I'll know when they are up and running again.
