I have a question what would you pay for a 20 strip jelly roll. Good quality fabric.

At the LQS here a 40 strip is $40 so based on that it is $1 a strip. You are paying for having the convenience of pre-cut. The amount of fabric you are getting is approx. one and a half yards. Hope this helps.

Wow $40 dollars for 1.5 yards. Never thought of it that way, although I have never bought one either.

The Walmart in Freehold NJ used to have 40 strip jellyrolls for about $10. Not any more. Darn!

The yardage I gave is for the 20 strips. Forty strips is approx 3 yds--still expensive but if you have a project for coordinating strips it goes more quickly than purchasing and cutting. Sorry for the confusion.
