Even the ants are tired of the cold weather. I had ants on my stove top today. I was cooking chicken for the dogs and did a parboil of Navy Beans. I've never had ants on the stove before. I get them some times when it rains alot.

Interestingly enough, my friend in MO was recently complaining of the same problem. I've been discovering ladybugs in the house! (given a choice, I'd much rather them than ants!)

Oh no, we had such a bad infestation of Lady Bugs one year. I would let the vacuum run trying to suck them up. If you squish one it stinks and stains. Give me ants any day.

There is an Orkin ad at the bottom. How do "they" get the ads to match the threads?

They probably match them to the words in the thread title.

We have had a terrible time with ants this year - I have a regular pest control treatment, but unless you find the nest it is hard to get rid of them.

I hope that you can quickly get rid of them...I had quite the battle with them one year...even the exterminator was getting frustrated lol

The ads are generated by the words in the title and body of the topic...some really interesting ads can pop up from time to time huh

Follow the ant trail, probably underneath your cabinets then go outside and find the ant trail where it ended in the house. Follow that to the ant hill, probably in the ground. That's where you put the ant- be- gone (whatever you choose to use). This way don't have to put the ant poison in the house or all around the house.
