Just made an offer on a house
#1
I'm single, never been married, no kids. I've worked my butt off for everything I've ever gotten. I never thought I'd be in a position to buy a house.....but I just put in an offer!!!

I'll find out on Monday if the bank will accept it or not. If they do accept it, I'll be paying less for this than I do a 1 BR apt. with a garage.
Wish me luck!!

When I post the details below, please realize that the AZ housing market is absolutely in the toilet and there are good areas where you can buy NICE homes for less than half of 2006 prices.
2700 SF. 5 BR, 2.5 BA, 2 CA GA. Upgraded counter tops, upgraded tile in the kitchen & Bath, granite bathroom counters, double counters in the master and full bath, separate shower & tub in the master. The walk-in closet is the size of my current bathroom. Lots of storage space throughout. The kitchen measures 12x16 (or 12x18?).
If the bank accepts the offer, I don't have any idea what I'll do with this much house. I really prefer something smaller, but for the price and potential future resale value of a house like this, I'd be a fool to look at a smaller size.

Congratulations, I hope you get the house. Lets see, you can host quilt retreats. You can put a long-arm in there somewhere. Have you ever thought of short-term foreign exchange students? They have some as short as 3 days or a week or two or three.
You can fill all the rooms with fabric..... Invite other quilters in for a party from other areas of the country.
I'm sure that you can come up with more ideas!!!
