I have a lawn goose - but "Gurtie" stays in the house because someone took my neighbor's goose "Gus". Mr neighbor bought and I made all sorts of outfits to celebrate holidays and special occasions. Fun.

That's why they would have to live in my back yard. Have a 6 foot fence all around the place in back.

I have about 10. Mostly older stone ones. Some plain, some painted. I like to think they are the 'classy' kind not the cheesy variety. I tuck them in my gardens under plants and around the pool for a special little surprise here and there. No vandals to worry about around here, just an occasional dog knocking one over. I treat them like my plants...if they can survive the dogs, they can stay. If not, adios!!!

a million yrs ago when I was first married my mil gave me some gnomes she made (fired/ painted). My hubs is dead and mil is very ill these days and I still have the gnomes. They move around all over the yard. I kind of like to think they keep the squirrels out of my veggies, lol, sharet

I have two inherited gnomes...came to live with me after Dad died. Sometimes I think they don't look to happy living here with me...maybe they just miss him....
