Little Dresses for Africa

Little Dresses for Africa
I believe the woman that initiated this is going to be a feature on the Brian Williams news tonight on NBC. The lady that posted yesterday may be interested in something like this to keep busy in retirement. We did them recently in my ASG group and they were fun and for a good cause. Also a good way to use some of that fabric for those of us that chronically overbuy.
PS --- I liked the Nancy Notion's pattern the best. I think I found it free under community projects.

I believe you were talking about me and my not wanting to quilt but looking for projects. This is a perfect thing for me to get involved in and I thank you so much for posting it. I would love to do something for the poor children in our country as well and will look for those projects. I'm sure there are many little girls here who would love a new dress.

It sounds like a great cause.

I've been doing these for a couple of years now & sending them directly to the lady in MI. They're quick & fun & a great way to give. The pattern on Nancy's Notions is the best I've found so far. I usually make my own bias though because of the cost

Hi -- I just now googled Nancy's Notion's then clicked on Patterns and on the bottom of the page there is Community Projects listed. Click on this and scroll down a bit and you will see the FREE pattern. She also has the pattern for sale.
