Default A little thing that brightened my day - - -

I have a pair of red socks and a pair or hot pink socks.

For some reason or other, they got separated, and I could find only one of each pair for quite a while.

I finally got them mated up again.

Do you have a 'little day brightener' to share?

My day brightener is my little black "wood" stove. It's one of those that is really a space heater with fake logs. For some reason I just love to sit and look at it when it's on. I don't even need the heat on just looking at the "flames" makes me smile...boy do I feel silly sharing this!!!

Coming home and being greeted by my little dog. She's sooooo excited to see me, even if I've only been gone, a short while!

Wearing one red sock and one pink sock would have brightened your day too. A little time on Quiltingboard always brightens my day.

My day brightener? I got an email form a cousin (OK, a 3rd cousin, but still...) who I hadn't heard from in something like 30 years... just out of the blue! Yay!

Another little thing that your post reminded me of & made me smile. My Mother used to like to wear "footies" (those little knitted bootie/sock things) around the house. In the winter she always wanted red or hot pink ones because she said they kept her feet warmer... LOL!
