Waking up to the sounds of birds chirping and looking out the bedroom window that overlooks our woods. No better way to start the day for this former city girl!

I have to admit picking up the dog in the evening.. His whole body goes into motion, and it's like he has so much to say, as he has adventures with my mom, and he goes over to his cousins house for play( while mom is at the gym)..

So many ... I will pick one - seeing and hearing the tiny chipping sparrows who are around our yard this year.

What a nice thread, bear.... thank you for starting it.

Having a day alone to sit on the screened in porch and listen to the birds' songs and to watch the humming birds fight over who is going to sit where on the feeders.

I like watching the squirrels. (DH and DS aren't quite as entertained) They are sooo tenacious and creative when it comes to getting into the bird feeders.

I get up early every morning to get on the computer to key into Quilting Board. I even set my alarm early some days. I have to have at least 30 minutes. I drink my coffee and start here with you, before I get ready for work, drive my freeway for 30 miles and to work in Little Rock. I work for a wonderful psychiatrist, with great patients and staff, but my days are stressful. I have to start my day with you, my friends, on Quilting Board. After a long day today, I came home early. Guess where I am? I feel like I know some of you personally.

I love seeing my two kitties curled up, licking each other. They look so cozy together.
