Great job. DH & I were pilot and captain for the Elf on the Shelf balloon in the Macy's parade this year (and for the last couple of years, actually). I thought the author said in the movie, the Elf's name was Chippy....or was that in the book??? Sorry, lots going on during that conversation and I don't remember exactly.

I like the way you personalized Ralph. The eyes really added "personality".

I have to decide on a name for him, which is not something I'm good at. Any suggestions?
He and I will have to go shopping tomorrow for the felt to make his collar and maybe some shoes.

I would consider using white fleece instead of felt. Fleece stays nice looking much better than felt unless it is wool felt. Don't want to work that hard just to have cheap felt ruin the look.

You have to hurry and name him so his magic can begin. My DGS named his Elfy. Not too original but he was only 4 when he met the elf. I like Ralph. Good job by the way.
