Sun was out, melted the snow in places and look who dropped by! I just love watching these California Quail. :P

Hey, I'm in California, but we haven't had that many in the yard this year. I can hear them early in the morning, but they hide good, can't see them.

There is a photo contest going on right now for pix of birds. The colors are so vivid and clear. I'll see if I can find the name of it again. I bet you would win,,,,,I know they give prizes.

My dad has many quail out on his place. He puts down corn for them and also feeds the birds. He has probably around 50 to 75 quail that will feed. He also has quiet a few finches and other song birds. It can get pretty noisy in the trees around the house.
