Made me bust out laughing....
My sweetie and I were out for dinner with a friend last night. When walking in to meet our friend, a young girl smiles over and says hi! Apparently my husband, Kevin, is her bus driver. He's been driving a school bus either before or after work for almost 30 years!
So we smile and go on with our dinner. AFTER dinner, the dad stops us and says.....You're her bus driver?? The younger girl is nodding and saying yes he is, and we just smile back. Kevin says yes, she's on my route. And the Dad goes....You were MY bus driver!
The look on Kevin's face was incredulous. I don't think he walked in feeling old....but I think at that moment, he may have felt it!!
LOL.....good times.....

Yes. We married and live in the town we both grew up in. We almost moved in our early 20's, but then when I became pregnant with my first-born, we chose to stay. Haven't regretted that decision
It's a small world, though....truly!

Well--tell him that he must have stayed young looking cause Dad recognized him right off, too!
I was an educator for 34 years--not a big deal that some of my high school students had kids that were in my classes cause I wasn't that much older than them when I started. But when I started seeing the middle school children of my former middle school kids I figured it was about time to become a full time quilter!
