Default My smokin' hot stand mixer cover

I made this the other day. I even used my new serger on the raw edges. I can't get over how "polished" my seams look.
I used this pattern.....http://sewlandia.blogspot.com/2012/0...er-part-1.html

and the embroidery pattern here....http://www.juliasneedledesigns.com/MIXER%20COVER.htm

Perfect timing - I'm making one for my mom as soon as the fabric gets here. Yours looks great!

Great timing for me! My Very DH saw and heard me struggling with my very old Oster mixer while making Christmas candy, cookies and cakes.....spoke to DD on phone....Bought me a Kitchenaid mixer and some attachments!!! Now I need a cool cover for it! Thanks!

That's so cool! So glad you're having fun making friends with your new serger.

Default mixer cover

I also just finished one. My friend's kitchen is black, white and red. She asked me for a cover for her mixer in those colors. I bought some strips from Liz Katsuro's site. Had so many left I kept on going and made her placemats and two cushions for her black sofa. I found the mixer pattern online by typing in Kitchenaid mixer cover. Also note that the cover is the perfect size for many sewing machines.

made covers for all the little gadgets sitting on the shelves in the kitchen that I don't use each day. Daughter laughted when she saw them but when I said I don't have to clean them off till I need to use them she ask if I would make her a few..
Maybe this would sell at the craft fair gee you ladies got my brain going today..................................
