Jeanne found out that DeNozo was an undercover agent for Jenny (the director that got killed). That's why she left.
I am watching the same show - same rerun!!!! I guess I have the answer to my own question.....it says "I am not coming back. You will have to choose." So, I guess SHE is the one who finally left...and from the following episodes, Tony decided not to follow her.

I also noticed the voice change. I thought he was just trying to hard to act like the caring grandson. Never thought about a cold. Could be. Hopefully next week his voice will be back to normal.
I also am a lover of all crime shows. I also ready many, many mystery books.

I'll bet not many go back as far as I do since I remember Mark Harmon's dad, Tom, as a great football player in the late 30's/early 40's at the University of Mich. I was a kid and we all worshipped the handsome college hero, who won the Heisman trophy and became a genuine air force hero during World War II. He married the beautiful actress, Elyse Knox, and became the patriarch of the extensive Harmon-Nelson family. Mark played football in college, too. And I remember Ricky and David Nelson as little boys on the radio Ozzie and Harriet program. It's hard to believe so many years have flown, and it's nice to see Tom Harmon's family so good looking and active.
