Default Neat restored pics from the 1800's & 19000s...

A company does HD photo restorations of vintage pics from the Library of Congress.
Pictures from various states from the late 1800's and 1900's, amazing shots of life back then.
Lots of pics from all over.

I just spent a LOT of time on that site ... the dress, the advertising, the transportation, the beach scenes ... all were so fascinating. Thanks for sharing the link!

Neat site, thank you.

I was noticing how few people were overweight back then.

Look at picture 39 to see women's bathing suits in 1905, they looked more like dresses.

They weren't overweight, because they had no television or computers to sit in front of or fast food to eat. It was pretty much DIY on everything, unless the folks were extremely rich.

Thanks for sharing. I was looking at old photos at a family reunion this weekend. Some of them could use restoring, so I sent the link onto people who could use it.

Thank you for posting this link. I've spent over an hour so far looking at through photos and wondering if we were better off then, with no cell phones, obesity, computers, or terrorists.
