amazing!! the first year in our new house we had phoebes build a nest on a coil of hose under the porch. Of course every time someone walked on the porch out they would fly. Then they tried to build one on an outdoor thermometer with a round top.
Next year I put up a couple of shelves for them way up under the eaves, very cozy. They have been using them ever since.
