Hi! I have been a lurker off and on for quite some time.... and finally got a *cool (to me!!) machine to post about! I finally found a Rocketeer for ME! I searched for quite some time on CL for one that wasn't an outrageous price and finally found one~ that only came with a pedal But is what I wanted nonetheless!

Here she is when I was getting her all cleaned up--- and I was fortunate! She was very clean and losened up once oiled. I am thinking of calling her Rory the Rocketeer!

She needs some work on her stitches and I am not sure how to do that right now-- but will come back to help her out soon. I am still in LOVE!

Welcome aboard and cool machine! I want one of those too, along with a bunch of others I like for different reasons.
Don't worry, you're well on your way to watching Craigslist and Ebay everyday for things sewing machine related and you will soon have a route you travel for your favorite thrift stores as well.
