Neat idea, for sure! I detest the expandable bands and never seem to get a comfortable fit with a leather band with buckle. Did you take the measurement and mutlitply by four? I am thinking of taking a 4 inch wide strip, pressing it in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and finally pressing each section lengthwise so the raw edges touch the inside center original pressing mark. Any help you are willing to share will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What a great idea! I have several watches that need new bands and I really like this.

Could you share instructions on it?
