online photo storage - any recommendations?

My sister inlaw wants to set up a photo storage site online with something like picasa. Are there other ones and which ones do you all recommend?

if it is costly, there is a better way and easier to manage
[i think] mac or microsoft?

I would pick one that you think will be around for a long, long time... other wise you will have to transfer all of those pictures elsewhere if the website goes out of business... This happened to a few of my friends/family.

I use Picasa and I love it. It now has facial recognition and will put all of the faces in their own files. It is so funny to see my grandkids get misplaced together (they look so much a like) or to find my grandson in with his daddy. It saves all of your pics to one place so they are easier to find.

i use Picasa..i love it, it is easy to run. it automatically stores the photos in "my pictures" also.

Me, too. My daughter posted all her pictures in Europe on there (she was there three months on a chemistry fellowship two years ago) and I still occasionally go on there and view them.
