On Easter Sunday we had a tornado touch down 3 miles from town. SOFTBALL SIZE HAIL pelted my neighborhood. We are 98% finished with the insurance adjusters and so far this is the tally (from lowest to highest):

Pecan tree and Live Oak still standing but half defoliated, peach tree permanently miss-shappen and all plants/bushes are a mess.

Above ground pool - $850 in damage

Shed roof - totaled.

My 2004 Marquis - totaled.

2008 RV - ~$4,500 (Need estimate on new roof)

House roof - totaled.

Our total deductible amounts (car, RV and homeowners): $2,750.

The good news is that no one was hurt.

I know the feeling, Hail damage our home and cars as well back last year! So sorry to hear about your damage! But thank God you and your loved ones are safe and that's all that matters, cause things can always be replaced!

We had softball size hail here last year so I can relate. Anything outside was destroyed and all roofs had to be replaced.

So sorry to hear of all the damage to your place. Glad no one was injured. Just take it one day at a time and everything will eventually get fixed. All I can say is.....someone must have really ticked off mother nature this year! She has been bent on destruction now for a while everywhere it seems.

p.s. I really love your Avatar pic. That is so funny!

We have storms moving in as I write this. We are looking at golf ball-sized hail and destructive winds. will lay very low this evening. I am sorry about all your damage. It saddens me to see so much damage from the tornadoes and the flooding along the Mississippi and its tributaries, and then there is a major drought in Texas. It was snowing in Denver yesterday.
