The other day I was riding in the car when a huge pick-up truck attached to a trailer full of furniture flew past with quilts stuffed between the items and just a flapping in the wind, I let out a sad sounding "ohhhh no," & "that just breaks my heart" to make me feel better my husband said "maybe they are just cheap quilts with the huge stitches sold in #######," How sweet of him to know just what I was thinking!!!! & I know he would never abuse one of my beautiful quilts!!

This made me smile!

I've seen/thought the same thing when traveling.. of course my DH wouldn't have a clue.

That would get to me too. Makes me think of "How to Make an American Quilt" when she was dragging it in the dirt.

By the way does ####### start with a B?

My husband was helping my daughter pack to move and grabbed one of my flannel quilts and wrapped it around a treadmill in the open trailer. I about had a coronary. The trailer was packed so tight they couldn't get it out. I tearfully watched it drive away. My daughter promised to get it cleaned and return it to me.....that was 6 months ago..sob..sob...
