This could of been fun in typing class. I know it was before some younger peoples time but I think alot of us remember it.I was also thinking that the little girl at the thrift store that ask me what it was would think this was how it was used probally if she saw this. Boy did I feel old when she asked LOL

When I was taking typing in high school many years ago while the teacher was out of the room the other students and I used to do stuff like that. It was fun. Lovely piece, thanks for putting up the link.

it's "the typewriter song" by leroy anderson--the guy who wrote "blue tango" and "sleigh ride". his music was genius--and because he was a mathematician, it is mathematically perfect. i suspect the precision of the typewriter appealed to him, and to his sense of humor!

Old Jerry Lewis bit! VERY FUNNY! And I'm sure others have done it too.

I loved it! My typing teacher would have hung her sign on him though. When she caught us looking at our hands, she would put a sign on us that said..."I peeked". I didn't care what letters I typed, I never wanted her to catch me looking. I can't type now if I look at the keys. Thank you Mrs. Gregson for teaching me to type.
