    The typewriter

Watch this symphony orchestra (sp) use a typewriter as an instrument. Great

It might be the space in there between the '.' and the 'com'.

I can't get the link to work. There's a space before 'com' and also before the '-' near the end. I copied the link and pasted it into a new tab and then removed the spaces but it still doesn't work for me

Leroy Anderson wrote some great "novelty" numbers for orchestra, in addition to this one. "Sleigh Ride", "Bugler's holiday", "Syncopated Clock", "Waltzing Cat."

Gosh, I am really dating myself here but I remember when that song first came out - in the 60s I think - it is really clever. Like they say, everything old is new again! Unfortunately that apparently doesn't apply to yours truly.

This took F o r e v e r to load on my little net book on guest services in the hospital. P T came in about midway through. I walked around the unit, and it still hadn't loaded. Once all the little starts & stops were buffered into the computer, I hit the replay and got to see the entire thing uninterrupted. Great rendition. This brings back a flood of memories about typing pools. The typist is certainly a showman.

Notice that he plays without music, just like any great soloist.
